Townsville Budget & Backpackers Accommodation - Hotel Herbert

New Backpacker Accommodation in Inner City Townsville

  • Newly Refurbished Historic Hotel

The Hotel Herbert in inner city Townville continues its major improvement. This Townsville icon has been a construction site for over a year - and now is ready for new business.

Upstairs has some of the best budget accommodation available in Townville. All rooms are fully refurbished with new floor coverings, furniture, and is fully airconditioned.

The upstairs common room is vast, fully equipped, and a great place to chill or talk. It overlooks the very interesting and busy thoroughfare - and has a great feel to it.

With the renewal, the Hotel is focusing on budget oriented short and medium stay guests who want something way better than the usal "backpacker" accommodation. Private, shared and dorm rooms are available - and great value for what you get.

It is suitable for visitors to Townsville who want something nice, but not too expensive. This produces a mix of contract workers here for work, who usually prefer the private and semi-private rooms, and tourist travellers who tend to the semi-private and dorm rooms.

The accommodation is scrupulously cleaned daily, and is always friendly.

Enquiries can be made from the Herbert website www.hotelherbert.com.au, or by calling 07 4771 2641 or by just dropping into the Hotel and asking.

This great Townsville Backpacker Accommodation is on the Corner of Sturt and Stokes Street right near the Townsville Inner City Mall.

Downstairs the Hotel is a great experience, with regular live music, events, and a new state of the art kitchen offering lunch and dinner.
